Market Calendar by Molten Cloud moltencloud.com

Policy

Privacy.

You can take a calendar from this site without saying who you are. If you ask for it by email, the address you type is kept with that calendar. Here is exactly what is stored, where, and how to have it removed.

What is collected

From the page

No sign up, no newsletter box, no analytics script and no cookie, which is why there is no cookie banner. What you pick lives in the browser tab. Two small values are kept in your own browser's storage and never sent anywhere: a note that you have seen the first hint, and the address you last mailed a calendar to, so the agenda page can offer it again.

When you take the file

Your selection of markets and layers is posted so the file can be built, and the file comes back in the response. That selection is not stored.

When you subscribe with Google Calendar or Apple Calendar

A subscription needs an address your calendar app can come back to, so the selection is stored under a random twelve character token: which markets, going or tracking, which layers, which prep tasks, which app, and when. No name and no email address are part of it.

When you ask for it by email

The same record is stored, together with the address or addresses you typed. That is the one place this site learns who a calendar belongs to. Molten Cloud uses it to see whose agenda is whose and may use it to follow up about the markets you chose. It is not added to a newsletter list and it is not sold.

When you edit your agenda

The agenda page saves your changes onto that same record: entries you moved or removed, the days you are at a market, and entries you wrote yourself, with their titles and notes. Anyone who has the link can open and edit the agenda, in the same way that anyone who has a subscription address can read it, so share it as you would share the calendar itself.

Server logs

The hosting provider records ordinary web server request logs, which include IP address, timestamp, requested path and user agent. Those are operational records kept by the host, not something this site reads, joins to anything, or uses to build a profile. A recent IP address is also held in memory for about a minute to stop the email form being used to send the same mail repeatedly.

The token inside the file

Each calendar carries one random twelve character token. Links inside the calendar point at moltencloud.com/r/... carrying that token, so that Molten Cloud can count how often calendar links are followed. The link to your agenda points back at this site and carries the same token.

The token is generated from random bytes. It is not derived from your address, your selection, your IP or anything else, and there is nothing in it to reverse.

Your email address never travels inside the file. Calendar files get forwarded to assistants and shared into team calendars, so only the token is in there. Where an address was given, the token connects to it on this site's side only.

Who processes anything

There is no analytics vendor, no session replay, no advertising pixel, no error tracking service, and no AI processing of anything you do here. Nothing is sold or shared beyond the parties above.

Retention and your rights

A calendar record is kept until you ask for it to be deleted, because a subscription stops updating the moment its record is gone and this site cannot tell when you have stopped using one. There is no automatic expiry. Server logs are retained by the host under its own schedule.

To see, correct or delete a record, including the email address and any entries you wrote, or for any other request under the GDPR, the CCPA or equivalent law, write to privacy@moltencloud.com. Quote the token from your agenda link or from any link inside the calendar, or write from the address the calendar was mailed to. Deleting a record stops the subscription it served from updating.

This site is not intended for children and nothing here is directed at them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date below changes with it.
